About Domaine Jacques Rouzé

Domaine Jacques Rouzé consists in 3 appellations. Firstly, 14 ha in the Quincy appellation (sauvignon on siliceous soils). Secondly, 4 ha in the Reuilly appellation (Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris on clay-limestone soil). And also 1.6 ha in the Chateaumeillant appellation.
At the estate, the culture preserves the soil, the environment and the fauna. The diversity of the terroirs allows a great freedom in the assemblages and the elaboration of the cuvées.

Wine characteristics

Grapes: 100% Sauvignon
Nose: Complex nose with aromas of lemon, mango and hawthorn. The elegance becomes even more distinct after aeration: appearance of notes of tuberose and a touch of minerality
Palate: Nice palate where fat and nervousness are perfectly melted. The finish, fresh and lifted, persists for a long time in a beautiful floral return
Robe: Pale yellow with green hues
Evolution: 3 to 5 year aging potential
