About Domaine du Bel Air
Heir to 16 generations, the Gauthier family works in Domaine du Bel Air in Benais, in the Bourgueil appellation since 1600. Today, Pierre Gauthier and his son Rodolphe have taken over the estate. It covers more than 18 hectares. Pierre Gauthier begins his winemaking work with a real philosophy. The family spirit is for him which allows this area to reach a level of excellence and authenticity unequaled. In 2000, the farm is converted into organic to give the wines their complex and authentic character.
