About Domaine Denizot

In the family estate since 8 generations, Thibauld Denizot now operates the 19 hectares of vineyards located mainly on the Sancerre’s emblematic clots.
This oxford-rich gravel-rich clayey limestone soil produces delicate and elegantly scented grapes. The wine work is done in the greatest respect of the vineyard and soil. The cellar work is little interventionist, the spirit is to obtain the expression of the terroir with fruit and freshness, fine and silky tannins. The white wines then naturally reveal the crunchiness of the grapes and their beautiful mineral tension. On the other hand, the reds have a great elegance.
