About Vieux Château Certan
Vieux Château Certan is the oldest vintage of the commune of Pomerol. In fact, its foundation dates back to the 16th century. The vineyard of Vieux Château Certan is located in the middle of the Pomerol plateau world famous for its Grands Crus. The proportion of Cabernets Francs and Sauvignons, very high for Pomerol, is quite exceptional. Like the biggest Médoc, the Vieux Château Certan is appreciated after 10 or 15 years of age reaching then a delicacy, an elegance and an unequaled race. Only the brokers and merchants of the Place de Bordeaux can buy it. And then, the wine is from there distributed worldwide.
