About Château Patache d’Aux
Château Patache d’Aux is located on a clay-limestone soil around the village of Bégadan, not far from the Gironde estuary. Since 1632, the family of Aux Médoc knights, related to the counts of Armagnac, already owned a renowned vineyard. The diligences, locally called “pataches” stopped there. In fact, according to the tradition, its name was the same of the owner of the places. Classified Cru Bourgeois in 1932, Château Patache d’Aux belongs to the Lapalu family.

Grapes: 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 7% Cabernet Franc, 3% Petit Verdot
